Microneedling treats:

  • Fine lines
  • Wrinkles
  • Surgical, Acne and Trauma scars
  • Stretch Marks
  • Pigmentation
  • …And Much Much More!

How does it work?

This treatment uses a disposable needle tip, which contains 12 microscopic needles that oscillate close to 110 revolutions per second, to create small micro-channels in the skin. The micro-channels stimulate the body’s immune response, and subsequently, the creation of new healthy collagen. Additionally, the micro-channels carry topical nutrients used during the treatment deep into skin layers increasing the product’s effectiveness. Because of the fast rotation the tip of the Microneedling™ easily *glides* across the skin, without catching or causing any dermal tearing. The depth of penetration of the Microneedling is fully adjustable between 0 to 2.5 mm to accommodate any region of the body and face.

Frequently Asked Question About Microneedling in Milwaukee, WI

Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will occur after 4 to 6 treatments (spaced 4-6 weeks apart). Your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments and when combined with the recommended post treatment care.

Microneedling treatments can be repeated every 4-6 weeks.

Since no melanin-absorbing laser and no heat are involved, the Microneedling is safe for all skin types.

Microneedling uses very fine needles and is relatively comfortable. A topical numbing cream may be used if needed.

For a face, each treatment is 30 to 60 minutes.

Needle rollers also use needles for skin resurfacing but are often too large and unwieldy for tight areas. They are also dependent on hand pressure, so the depth of penetration varies depending on the the amount of pressure exerted and the softness of the skin, while the Microneedling depth of penetration is set precisely with an electornic dial. There is also lateral trauma to the skin when the needles on a roller pull out of the skin as the wheel turns. This does not happen with the Microneedling, which relies only on vertical needle action. Additionally, we offer Scarlet Radiofrequency Microneedling.

There is redness and very minimal bleeding.
